I don't believe in the existence of a "moral arc of the universe that bends towards justice", but I do believe that pendulums swing particularly rapidly in response to rapid change.

OpenAI, with its billionaire backers and fossil fuel handmaids, seemed unstoppable just days ago. Then, DeepSeek happened.

Trump is not immortal and Magaworld is fickle and filled with piranhas.

What seems inevitable today may not be by January 2026.

For this all to change there is going to be much blood shed.

Even if not in outright battle, there will be much suffering and death from imposed austerity, deprivation, and oppression.

Change seems impossible in the absence of hope.

There will be great suffering, but

Trump is using a sledgehammer vs a scalpel.

I believe the ensuing whiplash will lead to change.

How long it will take and who leads the way is unknown.

Thank you for sharing this true life story. I think that most Americans don’t believe it can happen in this country, but i know it can and will if we do nothing to prevent it.

My 5 cents: There was never much daylight between German fascism of the 1930s and it's current US brand. The US has much better PR than the German Nazis ever had. THAT'S the main difference. Been able to sell their fascism as Democracy, while killing millions in neo-colonial, fascist wars of aggression in Vietnam, Korea, Laos, Cambodia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libia, Somalia, Iran, Yugoslavia, Argentina, Nicaragua, Cuba, Palestine, Ukraine, and many, many more places. Trump is entertaining but unremarkable, except as a salesman of the Outlaw Empire. He exhibits a certain aggressive stupidity that I find amusing. However, all US Presidents are moral degenerates. This will continue until the majority of citizens has had enough or the system naturally folds due to being based on lies.

Thank you for sharing some of your history, sir.

America has pretty much fallen to fascism. If the Brit ruling class and their sociopathic supporters among the public get their way, it will happen here too, because the Brit ruling class have no idea other than to follow the American Empire - the substitute in their pea brains for their own defunct one.
