Thank you JM. Another look into our past/future. Things are headed down hill quickly here in the USA. More quickly than the EU and Europe I fear. We have shat for social safety nets, or the welfare state.People are forced into bankruptcy because of unpaid medical bills. I myself have had to forgo heart surgery. I have insurance but can't afford the cost sharing. Babies and children are starving because the government has cut them off food assistance. Because of the high cost of rent and realestate and the lack of drug rehab/mental healthcare, homelessness is skyrocketing. Some try to help, but most Americans just turn a blind eye to it. Even tho surveys show most of us would be financially destroyed by an unexpected usd $1000.00 debt. Even with recent wins for some unions, many Americans still can't get a living wage and are forced to two or three jobs. Yet we sit and let the crap get deeper and deeper. Washington is hopeless. Scandal fills both of our political parties. Big business and big money now run amuck in our country. It's here now and we refuse to acknowledge the issues. It all sounds familiar, doesn't it? We need another Franklin Roosevelt, without the big war of course. But we may yet be headed that way..
