Hi John. I am also a paid subscriber. I have noticed that some other publications have an option for one-off donations/tips as well as subscriptions. It can be done through Ko-fi but perhaps it would be easier to add the paypalme link to your newsletters for those who can't take out a subscription but would like to support you once in a while.
