It is interesting and informative that Biden used language toward the ICC Prosecutor that is similar to the language Trump uses against his USA Prosecutors. The “rule of law” only applies to “others” and it has to be whatever the Empire says it is.

Hi John. In BC there is a dispute resolution process and tribunal between tenants and landlords. Have you tried this in Ontario? I don't know if there is a tribunal there. I agree, though, it shouldn't be necessary. https://www.ontario.ca/page/solve-disagreement-your-landlord-or-tenant

So tragically true. One point to make: Israel is killing ALL Palestinians, whether they are “willing to live under Israeli apartheid” or not. The 30-plus thousand already killed were already living under that apartheid and shocking levels of deprivation.

Fine article covering many of the ills our civilized society faces, with climate change topping the list. Human Hubris explains much of the mess we civilized people are in and it is not easily fixed.

It does not take a PhD to know that the greater wealth that someone has, the greater his or her level of hubris. Your management company's not replacing a wall air conditioner is not surprising. This is our economic system. Competitive Capitalism. Where the wealthy never have enough. But complain.

I do not know where you live, but I have bern living in Toronto for almost 12 years. My wife and I rent, because only millionaires can even think about buying a modest house here. I am 66 and retired; my wife is younger and still works. Cui bono?

I find Toronto the coldest most soulless city I have either visited or lived in and I have seen many cities. It epitomizes everything wrong with Capitalism. The people here do not realize how unhealthy a place Toronto is; two more years and I am out of here..
