Hi John. My mother would have been 97 yesterday but died shortly Christmas. Sadly we were estranged and none of my sisters would help me to visit her before she died or to attend her funeral. My father, like yours, was in the RAF in WWII but he was a bomber pilot who received a commission shortly after I was born in 1948. He died 9 years later when the V-bomber he was flying crashed in North Africa. There are several parallels in our lives although I’m older but thankfully in better health. Take care of yourself John, I’ll continue to what I can to keep Harry’s memory alive ✊
