Personally I don’t think this is entirely fair. But I do think that we are all doomed because of predatory capitalism, and certainly America at least isn’t pretending anymore
Well yes…. The western leaders are all capitalists that support neo liberal economics and do little about the climate crisis. But there was considerable value in Carney’s speech challenging the hypnotic demagoguery of MAGA. Western imperialism pre Trump was far from desirable. Take the small win and keep fighting for better.
