Sorry to read of your diagnosis.i only heard about your father's great work last year.after hearing his speach at a labour conference many years ago when many were moved to tears about the state of the nhs.i immediately bought and read don't let my past be your future.i found it a brilliant read and even more accurate now years after his death he would be deeply saddened to see the shenanigans of the current mob ob gangsters draining the last bit of life from our beloved nhs.i have started to read another of his books.love among the ruins.my dad was in hamburg at the same time as yours and remember him talking of the starvation.your father was and still is a true inspiration as you are too God bless
