There is a sense of sitting in purgatory as you wait for the results from a CT Scan. Mine for cancer recurrence was done this past Tuesday. Since 2020, I’ve had them once every year and if something untoward appeared on the scan in three or six month intervals. It should feel routine to me the span of time between the scan and the CT report dropping that lets me know whether the all clear has been sounded or there is more danger ahead for me. But it is not.
Hang in there, John. You are doing important work. Hope you get an all-clear on your scan. Sometimes all we can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other.
